Yep, expressed annoyance before Cancelo had put the ball in too late. It was a great run too, had acres of space in front of him.
There was a few times first half where a few players looked like they were actively trying not to give it Grealish, he'd make a run and they'd turn the other way. Happened last game as well.

Maybe fitness issue but I think in last 30 min vs Norwich and Arse both he was fading quite a bit. strange games as we were 4-5 up at the that time, so its not really where players would need to fight with 110% so to say.

but I prefer him on left compared to Sterling of last year. also defenders try double up on him he is certainly making defences scared and other City players should use that for our advantage who end up with less tracking on them due to it like an LB making a run or one of midfielders arriving well in the box, Gundo and Foden both can do it later on.

It's weird that you spent yesterday trying to push this agenda and are at it again today.
It's patently bollocks and the idea that players are actively refusing to pass to him is so bizarre it's not even worth calling you a bad name.

Grealish is looking like a player who's earnestly trying to adapt. He's hugging that touchline, exactly as he's supposed to.

A bit like Foden did, he's going to need a bit of time to adapt to the role and figure out how to get more involved with play, just like Mahrez, Sterling, and Jesus know how to do.

For what it's worth though, once the red card happened and we began to dominate Grealish got VERY involved. If you look at touch/pass numbers he got big, big numbers. So it might just be a confidence thing too; once we had the game in the bag he felt more relaxed about his tactical role.

We won’t see the best of Grealish or Foden until Guardiola goes.

Love him. He played an almost ‘decoy’ role in the first half, his superb ball retention drawing and occupying two defenders to create space for Ferran behind. Very humble and team oriented considering some on here decided he was a self absorbed Flash Harry before he’d kicked a ball for us.
Also made some great off the ball runs which weren’t spotted by Gundo and Cancelo. But its very early days and once they get used to playing with him, and he with them, we will reap the rewards.

But that's the case, it was the same with KDB when we signed him, don't you remember? Yaya's guys hardly gave him the ball, at least that's how I remember it.
