It's Quiet Thread 15 - Txiki Blinders

Traore is a dangerous player but I don't see how he add anything at City. Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus, Sterling, Grealish all have the ability to beat a full-back and deliver a cross. We don't need wide forwards.

we're very clearly not signing anyone and good - no one who's currently available for a reasonable price, especially those that "agents are proposing to txiki", improves this squad

Defensive midfield and left back are areas we might improve. We made a big mistake in this window in tracking Kane for too long. If you have £200m to spend, it's better to deploy it on the pitch than have it in the bank - providing you can find a player who can justify the fee. I find it difficult to believe that City could not have found a better DM than Rodri and Fernandinho.

Difficult to know for sure if we were tracking Kane all Summer. The media said we were but were we? Kane obviously sussed a move was not going to happen.

levy obv thought we would go to £150 million as we were desperate for a cf he thought he’d get his £150 m on deadline day and we pulled the plug after the £125/130 m offer, tolmie and billy both were adamant we were in for him and so were our press pack.

levy is prob deep down gutted he missed out on that chunk of money.

Any sign City were in for Lewandowski and it would be front page news on Bild.

Cheating Arabs And Their Dirty Oil Money Trying To By Bayern Legend And Fans Favourite Lewandowski.

Not only that, the German Rags hate City.
They wouldn't sell us a virus nowadays, but we didn't stand in their way for Sane

Traore would be a waste of resources and money in my opinion.

I don't think any of his fans would suggest otherwise,we have plenty of brilliant cover in his position. My argument is that if we were looking....he is someone who entertains and who would bring something that bit different.

Real Socidads Alexander Isak has a 77m release clause, and who loves a cheeky release clause?
22 yrs old, one of the best players at the euro 2020, a signing that actually makes sense.

Don’t think running into the full back , scuffing shoots , crossing worse then Jesus Navas and passing to the other team would be entertaining to most mate.

But yes it would be very different , it would be like going back to 1995 and having Buster Phillips in the team.
