I can't believe you rate isak. He is so average. I watched real Sociedad games last season and he needs 6 chances to score one goal. Swap with Bernardo-no chance for me. Plus Bernardo wants UCL. I don't think he is going anywhere.
When it comes to strikers in that age group he's one of the best and if we look at strikers that we actually can buy before deadline tomorrow he's top of the list. Hopefully Bernado will stay.

he always looks dangerous , especially against us with our high line, a very exciting player to watch, if pep could teach him how and when to pass and shoot he would be a 150m player, i just dont think hes shown hes capable of thinking at the right times though

He certainly looks dangerous.

I wouldn't want to spill his Stella put it that way.

Yeah I don’t think we will get the title this season unfortunately and I’ll probably get pelters for this but I think Chelsea will win it and the rags will get second with us third? Can’t deny the rags have improved their squad and Ronaldo will bag them a load of goals .
Utd still haven't fixed their main weakness - the middle of the park.

They also still have Solskjaer as manager.
I understand the reasoning however this window we have 3 areas that needed addressed:

CDM
LB
Forward

Jack is fantastic and he will improve the team but the 3 positions above weaken our chances to lift the champions league and we may come up short this season in the league.

So the question is why after winning the league has the club stood still again? We have the money but won’t spend it on area’s that need improvement instead we spend our time chasing United players and unobtainable superstars.

Go and buy 3 good players and stop getting caught up and used by selling/buying clubs who have no intention of selling to city.
We haven't stood still. We've broken our transfer record and signed Jack Grealish, one of the best midfielders / attackers in the league.

The only senior player we've lost is Aguero who played about 10 games last season and had very little impact on our season, sadly.

I'd have liked a striker, for me it was the icing on the cake of this team, but clearly Kane was the target and no one else. Spurs weren't budging on £150m so we didn't do the deal. I'd rather we wait than make a panic signing on someone we don't really want. Not signing a striker also opens an opportunity for someone else to emerge - Torres, Delap etc. This may prove to be a mistake not signing a striker for this season, but ultimately City find the right player eventually e.g. Dias.

The left back position we are covered - Zinchenko, Cancelo, Ake, Laporte can all play there.

The key for me now is keeping Bernardo Silva. If we keep him, the squad is stronger and we'll be fighting it out on all fronts.

Have faith in the team and the manager who continually evolves this team and makes us better.

I am always interested in how some posters view the window as a shambles when the only players that they think we are in for are those who have a story created on Twitter. I never hear transfer speculation from the club itself, or very rarely. It is really unusual for Pep to speak but when he says Spurs simply will not negotiate, why do some posters consider that to be Txiki's failing? If we want a player but the players club don't want to sell and won't consider bids, that is the end of it.

Personally, we have signed one of the last few seasons top PL players - one who creates chances galore, taking the immediate pressure of KDB who is now 30, and giving a more direct option on the left side, allowing Foden to play more centrally. If that's it, I will be more than happy with the window.
As far as we can ascertain with any degree of certainty, we were only in for two players. Grealish and Kane. Is one out of two a shambles? Kane clearly wanted to come and must’ve given the club the impression he had an agreement in place to leave. Ronaldo was just a circus not of our creating. Perhaps we should have said a flat no straight away and we haven’t learned from the Super League situation when the enemy cartel used us.
In both cases, Kane and Ronaldo I don’t think it was our fault necessarily.

we're very clearly not signing anyone and good - no one who's currently available for a reasonable price, especially those that "agents are proposing to txiki", improves this squad
This^^^^^^

We do not need 'someone for the sake of it'

We only need someone that would be a major benefit - and there do not appear to be any such players available

Really glad Ronaldo fell through - yes he would score a lot of goals in our team - but at the cost of massive disruption to team spirit and unity

People need to stop being so needy IMO

..........levy is prob deep down gutted he missed out on that chunk of money.
That is my reading also - he gets lots of kudos for 'standing up to City' - but in reality I suspect he would have loved the money and just wanted to maximise the amount and make it look like it was all down to Kane.

He was just trying to be too clever IMO and fucked up

Here’s my ITK prediction….

Next window is going to be expensive because we will need to replace Fern, Mendy AND STILL Aguero!
