Looks like he is going to take some shifting this season.

Hopefully Stones and LaPorte can work together at some point just for rotation purposes. In the games involving the bottom half.

As good as the tackle was, I'm more impressed by the recovery speed. He's getting back to his best !

If we ever want to play 3 at the back. Laporte can play on the left!

I think he will start many matches now as we get into the crowded months with CL games, and Cup games.

For me he starts against Leceister and Stones starts against RB Leipzig

Laporte is class. Pep/management need to work out some sort of rotation/formation that's satisfactory to all 3 of our world class center backs.

I'm not having that he's better than Stones. When he first arrived at the club sure but he has dropped off since then. We look far more calm and solid at the back with Dias and Stones.

You're not the only one, made a massive blunder late on when he lost Kelechi but thankfully Ederson was right there.

I think we look better and more solid with Stones in team.

Laporte is a classy player, but being classy as a defender is not that important. Whenever he faces top opposition, I always feel he just doesn't have the aggressiveness and concentration to really be a top 5 defender in the world. You compare him to Dias, and they are just in different leagues in those two aspects.

I've got no idea what Ederson was doing out there but thank goodness he was.
