MIB's are restless
All I could make out was “we’re man United, we do what we want”

Well, he'd be another ex-Utd star to become a great manager, like....er.....Neville, Bruce, Keane, Ole...

Rags 1-City 6
Yup. Heard a rag tell me he’s a free transfer due to shirt sales today!Nope it isn’t….but it’s chuffing lovely to watch mate. I’m convinced Ronaldo has a contract to say he’ll start every league game when fit based on a few comments from the scum camp. I’m equally convinced that’s why we didn’t want to touch him with a barge pole once we understood his terms of joining anyone. Absolute state of it.
Good game! Good game!“Lets have a look at the Old scoreboard”

Cant believe anyone still spins this shit. Clubs make little out of actual shirt sales, they make the money out of the initial deal (with adidas in this case) and the shirt manufacturers make money back on salesYup. Heard a rag tell me he’s a free transfer due to shirt sales today!
When it comes to city's accounts and ffp everyone is an expert. Anything else to do with money and football and they're financially illiterateCant believe anyone still spins this shit. had to explain this to a customer the other day who told me “‘nited already in profit on ronny”. No youre not
Seen summat a while back,it was saying on average, clubs get 7.5% of shirt sales.Cant believe anyone still spins this shit. Clubs make little out of actual shirt sales, they make the money out of the initial deal (with adidas in this case) and the shirt manufacturers make money back on sales

I stand corrected if thats right but as you say. Hes no free transferSeen summat a while back,it was saying on average, clubs get 7.5% of shirt sales.
Some of the bigger clubs get a bit more....so based on 7.5%,if Ronaldo sold 300k shirts at say £90 each, that would be £27m and 7.5% would mean he made them just over £2m.
It's probably slightly more, but it ain't paying for no transfer.
They will pay him 10 times more in wages than he'll ever make in shirt sales.

That'll pay for one months wage bill for him, but what happens for the rest of the year?Seen summat a while back,it was saying on average, clubs get 7.5% of shirt sales.

If United receive anything extra % wise from Adidas it will be from the wholesale price, not the retail which Adidas doesn't officially control, so in your calculation of sales it would be £650kSeen summat a while back,it was saying on average, clubs get 7.5% of shirt sales.

It's probably slightly more, the article I read said Liverpool get something like 18%,the highest in the league. If United receive anything extra % wise from Adidas it will be from the wholesale price, not the retail which Adidas doesn't officially control, so in your calculation of sales it would be £650k
He probably has sold a million shirts but at 7.5% of wholesale (£30 per shirt) it still only equates to £2.25m, or three weeks wages
Double it up to 15% and it's still only five weeks money :-)It's probably slightly more, the article I read said Liverpool get something like 18%,the highest in the league.
Also what people don't take into account is.....let's say Pogba and Fernandes sell 400k shirts between them,Ronaldo will of taken their shirt sales down.....think it said the rags sell 3-3.5m per year.
Oh, Brucie the elephant packed his trunk, and said hello to the circus".......Good old Brucie hasn't had a go yet...the rags points to game ratio when he's involved is second to none, should be a shoe-in, in fact I'll personally head up to Newcastle to help him pack his trunk.
