I'd agree with a lot of this, but given how poorly they play as a team it's almost impossible to even fairly judge individual players. Pogba in a 3 with good coaching and a system is entirely different to Pogba at United (see Juve or France). I suspect on a purely technical level there isn't actually much that separates Stones and Maguire, but the former looks like he is working hard, still learning and still improving where Maguire looks like his best years are behind him. Some of that is down to the player, but some of that is down to manager, coaches, players around them, facilities and everything else.

I think even with the best manager, though, their overall squad is really confusing and unbalanced and haven't really been signed with a coherent plan. They're playing a 4-2-3-1 which is giving up the whole of the midfield, and is a piece of piss to defend against, in order to squeeze Pogba, Ronaldo and Fernandes into the team.
Maguire on the same level as Stones ? Odd thing to say , really , and i'm certain that i'm not being biased here.

I'm not saying that they're on the same level, Stones is currently a better defender in a better team, but I don't think there's a world of difference in their natural ability. The rest is better coaching, better training, and being surrounded by better players in a better system. Put another way, if we'd signed Maguire 3 years ago instead of Stones, and you had Maguire in our team and Stones in that United side, would you be saying that it was obvious Stones was the better player? Do you think Stones would have helped take them to a league title? Do you think we would be unable to win the league with a well-coached Maguire in a team that always had a passing option for him?

I mean Ake plays for us and I think he's not better than Maguire. Stones in my opinion is def better than Maguire, in fact I wouldnt take Maguire over any of Dias, Stones and Laporte.
If I were to take players from the rags I would probably take Cavani and Shaw if he goes on a diet.

Stones is on a totally different level now

International football and the Italian league is so much slower than the Premier league you can't compare. Pogba gets pressed and eased off the ball all the time in the PL

Fernández is a myth and when the fck did he get to deserve first name only status?

So Neville believes City are state owned. Well Gary we either are or we aren't so why not come out and say we are? I'm guessing its because he knows we aren't and he knows he has free reign to say whatever he wants on sky. Knowing most of the people watching will just take his word for it.

How he got a name as an unbiased pundit and fair to City is incredible. His obsession with Maguire being brilliant aswel when he is clearly a level below the best defenders in the league. Somehow that has stuck though, there is alot of idiots out there who think he is dias vvd level.

When’s the Social Media Trophy Parade?

Neil Ashton will be pulling one off when he sees those Social Media figures.

Let’s see what the October’s figures are when all the Ronaldo Fan Boys have moved on.

I've got them down as having 13 points after 8 games last season and they'd already played Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs. I don't think they have improved.

The protest would be hypocritical though, when they celebrate every major signing like they've won the lottery.
Dress it up howver they like, but any "Anti Glazer" protest is an Ole Out protest. The Glazers ceded to the fans demands last time.

Oh wow they really are the best. 611 million that in is nearly every single one of their fans, wow again.
I bet only 15 million tuned in to see us lift the league title again and hardly any when we lifted the League Cup as that is now a given so hardly worth it.

How do we see Zidane getting on if he takes over? Won the la liga twice and the champs league 3x. His team had Ronaldo,Benzema,Kroos,Bale,Modric,Ramos,Navas,Varane,Marcelo and Casemiro amongst others. Same kind of quality Pep got to work with at Barca all them years ago.

A midfield with Modric and Kroos in their prime is completely different to what united have to offer though. Zidane is a big enough pull to make most players sign for him will be interesting.

611m interactions, zero fucks given

I reckon that’s on a poster somewhere in our ticket office.
