I didnt enjoy that film at all Im afraid. Just a mess of "left rudder two degrees starboard" "cut main engines deploy tubes 1 and 2" no idea what he was on about .....Incredible amount of CGI.
Tom Hanks being Tom Hanks. I just didnt like it. Which was disappointing.

Hahaha dude I think they are very different films

But the movie you refer to is absolutely brilliant yet I have no desire to rewatch. But I try to do my part and encourage others to watch.

BTW I love your taste in movies, can you tell more your personal favourites?

Day 1 of 10 bedroom isolating and the first film I chose was Nightingale. I enjoy a good revenge flick, but this was a bit grim. 6/10 none the less.

I guess my top 10 would include a lot of Tarantino films Plus recent three I love starring Mads Mikkelsen. Riders of Justice, the Hunt, another round. I have yet to see Polar.
ID also have to include the recent two movies by Robert Eggers the Witch and the Lighthouse.
I believe he is working on a new version remake of Nosferatu, the old original vampire movie.
Can't wait for that. Loved Fargo and a couple of the Coen Bros films.
I recently watched a movie called Blue Ruin which I liked very much and rated highly.
A much better revenge flick in my opinion than the massively overrated Nobody. :)

I crowed about "I Saw the Devil" on here when it first came out! It was one of the best films I'd seen in ages and, to be honest, I thought it was nailed on to be remade by Hollywood.

I'm still surprised it's been overlooked.

Im not a big fan of revenge movies, I didnt know what Blue Ruin was about, but theres a good story behind it and I thought it was really well made.

Eternals , 6.5/10 didn’t feel anything for the characters, didn’t know anything about them before I went in and tbh didn’t care at the end, good set pieces like all Marvel films and two post credit scenes that setup new films. I also watched in 4DX for the first and last time, felt battered after oh and never take a hot drink in if you ever try it!
