slbsn has some good views on twitter, but fuck he’s negative regarding City
Don’t know how he gets out of bed in the mornings
This is nonsense. He has waged constant war against the lies. Known on this forum as @projectriver he was extremely helpful to members in untangling the issues surrounding the UEFA/ CAS case. You should apologise.
EDIT P.S. For further elucidation you should read the article below by Stefan Borson who is indeed @projectriver. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...ttle-puts-Premier-League-unenviable-spot.html

Against my better judgement, turned over the last half hour of chitty chitty bang bang to watch football focus. A very nice tribute to g Sinstadt from another TV great Barry Davies, very heartfelt I thought.

Imagine my surprise that there was no football last weekend, and that the rags weren't humiliated in the derby. All about international football conveniently. Not even subtle about it anymore.

Wishing I stuck with flying car fable as it's much more real than what passes for football coverage. ;-((((((

They talked about international football on an international football break?
The bastards

Wasn’t referring to that tweet
Just his tweets in general mainly about Pep and matches
You’d think city were in relegation crisis every season
Sorry just got out of bed! I'd say balanced not negative inc during matches (latest match below) but Twitter has this great feature called unfollow. And mute. And even block. Thats the beauty of it!

I'll happily hold the view that Pep is the greatest manager of all time whilst concurrently often wrong on City's history, our standing in the game and his open praising of Barca and Bayern when they are busy trying to destroy the club in the background. I don't call that negative. Balanced. Nuanced.

Since the song came from the musical 'Carousel' that was first produced on Broadway in late April 1945, it is certainly 'stretching things' to call it a WW2 song.

its the royal british legion festival of rememberance

it the royal british legion that chooses the music not the bbc

You have lost me with that reply. What the hell have the British Legion or the BBC got to do with selecting a post war musical anthem as a WW2 song?

I for one don’t give a hoot what you write about City/Pep on twitter or anywhere else mate.
I simply remember the comfort and understanding you imparted diligently on here during the CAS crisis.
If memory serves, you were slightly less hopeful about the eventual outcome than our other fantastic contributor to that thread, PB, but you always gave a reasoned, easy to understand précis of the situation we were in and for that I, and many others in here, were, and remain extremely grateful.
You were a rare, and much needed, ray of light at an otherwise very dark time to be a City fan.
Thank you for that.

The Beeb have never admitted an error in their history…. The self righteous twats ain‘t starting now.
The various complaints programmes confirm that. Yesterday they fobbed off viewers complaints about presenters flying all round the world to present items.
Last night Clive Myrie had been flown to Glasgow to read the news. Everything he said could have been done from the usual location. This morning he and all the others involved in COP will fly back. Anybody who complains about the environmental or financial cost will me told they are wrong.
