I find that believable. Not because the source might be, could well be total speculation on their part. Just because it sounds like it would make sense.
Fake news.
"Sterling will not come to Barcelona for various reasons.
Among others, Tebas and the LFP (Spanish FA) do not accept it."
It wouldn't, even if we sanction it, Barcelona don't have €10m to offer so there's no guarantees how it will look in the summer. Moreover, loaning, be it for months, makes us look weak and a laughing stock. A player of Sterling's reputation elsewhere would get sold for a lot of money, won't be any talk of this loan nonsense.I find that believable. Not because the source might be, could well be total speculation on their part. Just because it sounds like it would make sense.
This is exactly why he will renew imo, there's nowhere he can really go who's on the same level as us when it comes to competing. Only options are Cheslea or Liverpool, and we know neither of those are happening. Anywhere else is simply an ongoing rebuild or an ambitious project, he'd be wise to work hard and find form, even a player like Bernardo with his reputation and form carried from last season could not get a move, same with Cancelo or Laporte or any of the names linked away. It's not easy to move from City unless you're entirely washed and moving on because you don't belong. Sterling can still be a great asset for us, that's how I look at it.if he doesnt renew and city have to sell who is let besides psg
And the not too insignificant fact that Jack is miles better. The Grealish transfer displaced Sterling meaning that it's very difficult for him to secure a place in our starting line-up given the scale of investment in Grealish.
I’ll agree with that when he has half the number of goals and assists that Sterling has.And the not too insignificant fact that Jack is miles better.
Yeah, you'd think that was obvious at this moment in time but whilst posters try and use stats to try and convince others that Jack hasn't been a success, just watching him play is more than enough to convince me. Not a resounding one so far, granted, but then if you're willing to look a bit further than the nose on your face it's easy to see why we bought him.And the not too insignificant fact that Jack is miles better.
Wouldn’t that make him half as good ?I’ll agree with that when he has half the number of goals and assists that Sterling has.
I'd rather concentrate on the here and now rather than the past. Grealish is a much better fit for this version of City.I’ll agree with that when he has half the number of goals and assists that Sterling has.
Maybe he will mate. Started well enough but very unconvincing the last few displays.I'd rather concentrate on the here and now rather than the past. Grealish is a much better fit for this version of City.
Depends on how quickly he gets there.Wouldn’t that make him half as good ?
That's close to my take. Thought he had a very good first month or so but not quite up to those same standards the last 3 games.Maybe he will mate. Started well enough but very unconvincing the last few displays.
Neither are starters just now and that right as I believe Gabby and Phil deserve the place. I am encouraged by Raheem starts for England and do think his form will return. That's close to my take. Thought he had a very good first month or so but not quite up to those same standards the last 3 games.
I've seen enough though to believe he offers us much more at the moment in our overall gameplan than Sterling does.
I’m desperate for Sterling to return to firm but I can’t get over excited by his England performances against mainly cannon fodder.Neither are starters just now and that right as I believe Gabby and Phil deserve the place. I am encouraged by Raheem starts for England and do think his form will return.
Keep on hearing about Barca wanting Sterling , what are they going to do start a "Go fund me" page , they havent got a pot to piss in , letting him go on loan in January is a waste of time if Barca can't afford the fee or his wages.
If we do get an offer of around £50m then i will pay his for his plane ticket , if we can get that fee and save £300k a week wages we could then sign a player who can knock the goals in.
Sterling has been a good signing , but he's done and needs a move to kick start his career , he has stagnated over the last 18 months , and if a coach like Pep cannot invigerate your career , then its time to find pastures new
Good luck Raheem its been a blast.
Absolutely they have run rough shod over clubs awarding players stupid contracts to sign the best in the world , now they have a 39 year old Alves returning on a wage of ONE EURO a week , throughly enjoying their fall from grace . just a shame Sergio signed for them , he deserves better.Give Barcelona nothing and watch them die a death, vile club akin to the English red tops.
I'd rather concentrate on the here and now rather than the past. Grealish is a much better fit for this version of City.
