They could want him, he could be open to the move but we literally have zero incentive. There's no Messi on the table anymore, unless they're willing to offer FDJ, it's a non starter.
If they offer good money we might be open to making the deal though but yeah there is zero incentive for us to move him on for cheap

Barcelona are becoming like a smell you can’t shake of!

They are skint so there is no chat or negotiations!

If we were doing what Barcelona are doing but with us wanting to loan one of there best players we would have a load of negative articles ridiculing us and laughing like who do they think they are!

We so nice let’s hope this stance will bare fruit in the future?! Can’t see it though!

Ferran if Barcelona want him and the lad probably love to go back home for me his value is around 40m! We know though we will get 20m a lump it because we ain’t chelsea who would get at least 50m!

there is no evidence to the fact. we valued sane at 100mil but he got a acl and so we still sold him next year for a respectable 60 mil. bernardo and aymeric wanted to leave but did not let them leave below their value.

Much like Eric Garcia, it's not unsurprising that he could have his head turned by Barca if they're offering him a starting role in his homeland.

He's very much on the periphery in squad standing and he's about to get knocked back even further in the next window or two when we eventually sign a starting striker.

Does he want to stick around in Manchester and play as a second fiddle striker or winger for the next couple of seasons?

He's a massive talent and he's going to go on to big things, but you need to look at it from his perspective right now, rather than the benefits we get from keeping him around as one of many decent squad players.

If there's any truth to it, the money has to be right though and if Barca aren't coughing up at least £50m I'd be telling them to jog on.

Correct and tell them you’d have to wait till 2025 if you want him when his contract runs out so put up or fuck of Barcelona

Probably realised he wanted to go back to Spain and play their while he was recuperating from his injury. He's a good player, but he wasn't really getting game time at City. And if the truth be told, we've not really missed him.

As for the Barcaskintlona, they can f*** off! Pay City what he's worth. I'm getting sick of Barcelona sniffing around our players hoping to get them on loan or on the cheap. Catalan tramps!

I find it amusing

they are like a washed up AC Milan begging for players from their superior teams no need to take them seriously.

Anyone really that arsed about Torres? He's been average out wide and will hardly play even when he's fit.

Palmer will be given more minutes and he's a better talent IMO.

Torres is a very good player and is Mahrez successor in all likelihood. Without the injury I believe he would have nailed down a place in the team by now. He can play anywhere across the front 3 and, in time would be a natural without looking out of place in any of those positions.

However I see the appeal for him to go back to Spain, he was used sparingly by Guardiola at City last season. Guardiola I suspect is bedding him in to the team slowly to get him accustomed to the way we play. He could be a massive player for us this season and in the future. Torres may not trust or have the patience for the greater plan for him at City and in Spain he could be the Poster boy for Spanish football.

He's on a long term contract and he's the future of Spain's national team.

I've said this before because I think him being unknown in the UK before he moved makes people underestimate it, but in Spain he was thought of as a Foden-level talent coming through and his performance for Spain - 11 goals in his last 15 caps - backs that feeling up.

No one should be influenced by the fact we paid €25m for him, Valencia were absolutely broke, and he'd just told them he was running his contract down and walking if they didn't sell now.

€100m should be the starting point.
