If Covid has taught us anything it’s how easily the Nazis came to power.I’ve said for years that we should have a basic intelligence test in place for lots of things in society. Driving and voting for example are two things thick people shouldn’t be allowed to do.
Couldn‘t agree more. Was just talking to the missus about exactly the same, it needs to be compulsory if you want any interaction with society.
These twats who go on about their rights, what about our rights not to have some ignorant selfish **** infect us? Their argument is as ridiculous as someone saying they have a right to drive home after 8 pints.
I thought so, too, but the GGD (health body) initially thought it was going to be even higher after the first 100 tested.10% were positive?!?!?! That’s an incredibly high number.
It's not that high and I'm surprised it's that low. Most estimates of true positivity on most flights is around 1% so it's only 10x higher. This is also coming from a country and region with terrible vaccination rates and poor testing capabilities.10% were positive?!?!?! That’s an incredibly high number.
Jesus Christ, 10% of the passengers, thats mental. Two KLM flights arrived at Schiphol from South Africa yesterday and the passengers were kept on board for hours until they could all be tested; 61 of the 600 have tested positive and the samples have been taken to Rotterdam to determine the variant.

What would your test consist of?
As far as I‘ve seen, most that have collapsed haven’t had the vaccine. Not seen it mentioned so apologies if it was in this or another thread, but what are peoples thoughts on the noises being made around the link between the vaccine and young fit sportspeople suffering heart issues? It was known that they can affect your heart in the short term, is it too much of a coincidence that a much larger than normal number of athletes have been having issues since the jab has been rolled out?

Has that been confirmed? I know they said Eriksen hadn’t had it, not sure on the recent ones.
There’s a thread in off topic about it. Here’s a couple of posts from it.You need to remove Eriksen, Aguero and Wyke from your list.
Aguero has Brugada syndrome, it's genetic and he's known he had an issue since he was a teenager.
Wyke wasn't vaccinated.
Eriksen wasn't vaccinated. https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/s...-he-had-no-history-heart-concerns-2021-06-13/
So perhaps also change the title of the thread to Footballer collapsing/becoming ill.
Dr John Campbell's comments are interesting.

Covid itself has a much higher incidence of, and much more severe cases of myocarditis than is associated with vaccines.
So *if* there is any link - big if - it's near certain to be to the disease rather than the vaccine.
Suspected cases of the Omicron variant have been reported in Germany and Czechia. Only once case in each and both had recently been in Southern Africa, South Africa and Namibia, respectively.
