The issue we have right now is your scenario tested positive in the last 28 days and they go down as a covid death which is patently nonsense.

for the rapid figure yes. For the more accurate figure of covid on death cert no. Has an 11 day lag on fast data.

your argument can be applied to anything. Someone gets hit by a bus, loses a load of blood and has a heart attack and dies. What killed them? A heart attack? Blood loss or a bus?

I simply do not get or accept this, sorry and I’ve had both jags and my booster and will continue to get them.

The vaccine does not stop you catching the virus nor passing it on so how does someone not having the jag be responsible for someone of heart issues or cancer?

Would you accept me saying people have died of heart issues, cancer and other treatable diseases because for 2 years our health services have been virtually closed down because of our response to covid? Lack of GP appointments, cancelled hospital appointments, cancelled surgeries?

The vast majority of the population has taken the vaccine and are now taking the booster and to suggest otherwise is rubbish imo. We will look back at cancer death rates in years to come and think what the fuck did we do as those numbers really will be scary and no amount of trying to blame it on someone who didn’t want the vaccine will make your opinion right. It will be because of nearly 2 years of restrictions and lockdowns at fault.

Here we go with all the anti-vax mob kicking off. If everyone had been vaccinated, and everyone wore masks in certain indoor settings, we wouldn’t have needed these restrictions.

We should all give it a rest because no one on this topic has a clue. It may turn out that human activity has actually made this virus much worse, or it may be that this will be the last serious wave as boosters followed by vaccine Mk II will effectively turn Covid into a cold like the other coronaviruses.

The current hospitalisations and deaths in SA indicate those numbers are likely to be total bollox (as usual).

Where did you see those numbers? All I have seen is 1k a day hospitalisations which doesn’t seem that bad to be honest

I’m not in favour of further restrictions to be honest with you but there’s no confirmation there will be another lockdown.

Here in Scotland, we have applied for emergency funding from the government as it’s expected, businesses will be forced to shut in the coming weeks due to restrictions going much further.
