Why you may ask, its human nature to be socialised, we can not achieve anything alone. That Tory myth of individual greatness is a myth, That though is the danger of the sovereign individual, a notion of RW thinking that gives Capitalism the greater importance in our lives, Dog eats dog, its Tory Darwinism and at the moment as is stands its proto fascism,

You may think I am Frank Owen, which to be fair is more accurate than those who think i am Lenin, but all i have ever wanted is this country to be run by people who are working class, not the Capitalist class and the Etonian upper class elite.

What's this "council estate" in Cheadle? Half the houses sold under right to buy? A lot of them now in the hands of private landlords? No Tory voters among them?
 
Labour could regain many voters by voting against vaccine passports and people losing their jobs and moving back to what they purport stand for - supporting those who need it most and opposing discrimination. But they won’t.
This current Labour Party has completely lost it’s soul and is going to prop up the worst PM in living memory as it doesn’t want to ‘play politics’.
What’s the point of doing politics if you don’t want to play politics?

It’s actually amazing that after 30 odd years of being interested in politics how the two main parties carry the same baggage. Also how most believe one is earnt and the other is a fabrication.

Haha I didn’t watch it I saw him on Marr or something else and he came across reasonable.Not huge praise but he would certainly make a better PM than Boris. Some of those around him though not so much.

Beware people who label acquiescence patriotic and dissent unpatriotic, they're always up to no good.

He gets the word patriotic in a lot of his interviews and addresses, I don’t think it’s by accident or ideology.I suppose how you see it depends on if you think he should be playing the game.

I agree but we don’t want to go round the but you have to get elected route again on here. My personal view of Starmer is he is more competent than Boris(I know:-)) comes across more professional and intelligent(I know) and I would trust him more(I know:-))

So know we now he isn’t as bad as Boris which isn’t hard I think he is ambitious but is he at heart a strong socialist pretending to be more centrist or centrist pretending to be socialist. He will be playing one side more than the other. Maybe he just sees himself as a realist which is fine but hardly anything to get excited about.

I see him as basically our own version of Biden. He would get my vote over Boris but as I don’t have to vote for either he won’t be getting it, not that he needs it mind.
