First analysis I've seen of hospitalisation rates in European country, Denmark, so similar healthcare and immunity to us.

I wouldn't put much store in the estimate as numbers are very low and uncertainty very high, but it's this sort of work that'll start to inform how bad things are likely to get over the next few days.

Visiting my Mum later in the week but I'll do lateral flow tests and hope that is enough.

Can you trust a negative lateral flow Covid test?

Analysis: with cold symptoms, it is better to wait for a PCR result rather than risk spreading the virus

Ok then, we used to have 1 thread, it was decided that we needed 2 so that data could be separated. We now have a thread called “Covid data thread” or something like that. Funnily enough, what goes in there are data posts so we can DISCUSS covid without the data in this thread. Capiche?

Strange how healdplace has practically apologised for putting the data in this thread. Yes, I was blunt, but as said above if I’d have sugar coated it, it would still have come across the same way.

I have no issue with healdplace and her figures but we agreed separate threads for this exact reason.

It’s a thread for discussing covid without the data being posted in here, how hard is it? It’s managed since the data thread was created on the 2nd November!
