Greater Manchester Cases

103 cases today - down 41 on yesterday - the majority of the NW fall of 52 to 186 today.

This is down week to week from 125.

Much brighter day today

Manchester falls again and top scores on just 20 - lowest since last Summer and down 3 on the day and week to week.

Bolton only 1 behind today on 19 which is down 2 on the day and 1 on last week.

Salford rises by 9 to just 17 which is up 6 from last wk.

Oldham down 5 on the day to 12 and down by 2 on last week.

All the other 6 boroughs made it into single figures today and City could have had as many goals as some of them had cases.

Trafford on 9 - down 6 on the day but up 5 wk to wk.

Wigan also on 9 - down 2 on the day but level wk to wk

Tameside falls by 2 to be on 7 on the day which is down a big 13 from last week.

Stockport equals its recent low of just 5 This is down 12 on the day and 7 week to week. So better day and closed the overall Pop Score gap with Trafford again to now be 'just' 179.

Rochdale did one better and down 13 on the day to 4 - which is down 5week to week.

Which means top spot again goes to what Zoe oddly says is the worst infected area in GM :-

Bury - falling by 9 to just 1 case - which is versus 3 last week

Weekly cases:-

Bury 56, Tameside 63. Rochdale 76, Wigan 80, Trafford 82, Stockport 84. Oldham 89, Salford 91. Bolton 135, Manchester 270.

44 year olds can book a shot from today and the 40-43 group later this week.
I think we should be pausing the vaccine roll out here and sending all supplies, save for second doses, to other countries to enable them to vaccinate their over 70’s, which will make a massive difference to them and not much difference to us.
