This line still has me scratching my head. How do you think you’d be risking your health?I won't be risking my health for a jab I feel I don't need yet.

Good moveYeah 18 months ago. Why?
60-69: 67%
70-79: 59%
Our data for an old UK population who got vaccinated by AZ a lot earlier will be worse imo. Use LFTs before visiting people you love and get boosted.
This seriously is time to be very careful. The one bonus we have is that the booster vaccination campaign.
That's why I booked mine for first thing tomorrow!20 hours since my Moderna booster to top up my previous two AZs. Shivers, temperature, can't get warm. Just like the first jab all over again. Hoping feel ok by kick off!
Same here but I just looked the other way and concentrated on anything but the jabI'm 34 and got my booster tomorrow.
Feeling nervous now about having it done ffs. Especially as I already have a phobia of needles and massive anxiety around anything medical.
I had a panic attack in the waiting room when I had my first jab.
Apparently it's 10, not 250 and was corrected later. With it or because of it
That's a pisser with you having the booster booked for Thursday mate. Hope it isn't too badHad a sore throat last night and feel weak today. Did a Rapid Antigen Test and have tested positive. PCR Test booked. Great timing absolutely gutted. Obviously I'll miss tonight's game but its not that important in the grand scheme of things.
I had a booster booked for Thursday as well
Zoe app says 2 weeks for my moderna boosterI decided not to wait until my booster appointment and I am in a queue for walk in jab. I was cancelling activities so I thought just get it done.
I wonder how long it takes to be effective. 7 days?
Porton Down? ;)Had my booster yesterday at a walk-in centre. No queue. In and out in under 2 mins. Very efficient (probably because it was an army run facility).
Kotva shopping centre. Nearly the same I'm sure ;-)Porton Down? ;)
Anxiety is awful. Diazepam is your friend. Just knowing you have some in just in case, is often enough to calm you down. Not to detract anything but I wouldn't ever rule anxiety out mate. I had an episode in the past where I thought I was having a heart attack, ended up in A&E and there was nothing wrong with me, it was a panic attack. It exhausted me and for a few days afterwards I had chest pain, leg pain (I couldn't move my legs at one point) and my stomach went dodgy for a long time. It's all caused by chemicals flowing through you responding to stress and the muscles are constantly tensioned which basically knackers you out.
I'm never really stressed or anything like that but constant worry can cause these problems. I've booked my booster for Sunday and just thinking of having it and the potential side effects etc starts to create the same feelings even though there's actually no real reason for it. I bet nobody on here knew what myocarditis was until they read the rubbish about it related to the vaccines but just knowing about it creates worry and anxiety.
Serious side effects from the vaccines are exceptionally rare and just think if you were at a city game only 1 person or less in the ground will get a severe problem such as myocarditis. Of course get checked but with COVID bombarding us daily, I wouldn't rule out anxiety.
Just as an example of anxiety today, I went to the dentist a few weeks back and I asked how things have been since COVID. He told me all he seems to be treating at the moment is cracked teeth because people are clearly so anxious that they're clenching and breaking their teeth.
Agh. I was hoping it might be less.Zoe app says 2 weeks for my moderna booster
Diazepam is a dangerous road to go down. Works like a treat but that drug has many of its own dangers down the road.Anxiety is awful. Diazepam is your friend. Just knowing you have some in just in case, is often enough to calm you down.
I think every reaction is very different. I was rough after first AZ, nothing after 2nd AZ and rough all next day after Pfizer booster (but feeling rough, nothing too dramatic)Got mine booked for tomorrow lunchtime and off out for our office's Xmas do on the Thursday, got a feeling I'm due some shitty side effects which is going to try stop me from going out....
Quite a few people I know were pretty rough after Pfizer booster when jabbed with AZ before, hoping that because I'm Pfizer jabbed it won't be too bad.I think every reaction is very different. I was rough after first AZ, nothing after 2nd AZ and rough all next day after Pfizer booster (but feeling rough, nothing too dramatic)
