Maybe old Ralph has a secret health/energy potion that needs a couple of days for the body to assimilate.

Leicester and spurs both wanted their game postponed, both have more individual cases than united yet their request is rejected. Exactly as I predicted last week, without strict guidelines it becomes a farce.

I don't actually see it as an advantage for United, they're still in Europe (for now) they'll struggle to fit the game in and there's no guarantee they won't have more cases whenever that is, I think the most advantageous thing for all clubs is to get as many games played as possible but it's still a complete joke that one side with less cause for postponement can have their request accepted but 2 clubs both with more cause can be rejected 48 hours later.

I heard the ref asked him if he knew what day it was, and he didn't. Unfortunately the ref didn't realise that he really doesn't know what day it is.
I heard that Luke Shaw couldn't recall how many different flavoured pasties, Gregg's make & thats why he was subbed due to concussion protocols

Do we know that Leicester and Spurs have more individual cases than United? There were reports that Tottenham wanted the game postponed so they could play Rennes so it can't have been that bad there.

I don't see it as an advantage to them either.

I read that Leicester have 9 positive cases, Spurs had similar and Brighton 4 cases so they account for around 50% of the cases identified. I guess if the Rags have more than 10 players affected then there may be some merit in the decision but would be amazed if that was the case, Yesterday it was being reported as 4 players.

Don't know how many anyone had, all we do know is that the players below never had it.... pretty much a full squad. (Source MEN)

Confirmed United players who were at Carrington on Wednesday:

Cristiano Ronaldo, Fred, Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rashford, Eric Bailly, Raphael Varane, Diogo Dalot, Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Lee Grant, David de Gea, Bruno Fernandes, Edinson Cavani, Phil Jones, Alex Telles, Tahith Chong, Paul Pogba.

Furthermore the following statement tells us they never had any positive cases, does it not? They just did not want to face Brentford!

"Given cancellation of training and disruption to the squad, and with the health of players and staff the priority, The Club requested the match to be rearranged. The Premier League Board took the decision to postpone based on guidance from medical advisors.

"Manchester United regrets the inconvenience caused to Brentford FC and to the fans of both clubs by Covid-19."

Leicesters 9 were a combination of covid and injuries players I think.

Leicester have Jonny Evans (thigh), Caglar Soyuncu (thigh), James Justin (knee) and Wesley Fofana (foot) out with normal injuries.

Additionally, they have 8 COVID cases:
Kelechi Iheanacho
Daniel Amartey
Jannik Vestegaard
Ayoze Perez
Ademola Lookman
Vontae Daley-Campbell
Filip Benković
Hamza Choudhury

The first seven were all stated before the Napoli match to have tested positive or were ill. Not sure how many of either, although the ill ones may have subsequently tested positive.i dont think Leicester have confirmed one way or the other, those names just came put because they missed Napoli.
