When someone as useless as Gauke starts piping up you know you’re in trouble.
Certainly appears to be unraveling. Part of the problem is that Johnson doesn’t really have a strong political base in his party, maybe the new MPs in the north, but they carry little clout, so he‘ll struggle to rally everyone. He is more opportunistic than conviction based and now finding himself stripped of his coterie he is horribly exposed. I still think they won’t topple him until they can ensure that he carries the COVID can. He’s lost Frost now. It’s going to shit quicker than a toupee in a hurricane.
As a long term Conservative voter I have already decided that I don't want Johnson to be leader any longer. I reckon he has a few months at best before he is either convinced to resign or there is a no confidence vote that finishes him off even if he narrowly survives it.
It looks like a shoo-in for Sunak. Therefore two female and one BAME leader whilst Labour has only had whites males :)
And a party with a recent leader with an appalling record of anti-semitism is so much better. You think the party that has been investigated for Islamophobia, whose current leader wrote of piccaninnies with watermelon smiles and muslim women that look like letterboxes is a beacon of diversity, do you?
Well, it's an opinion, I suppose.
Tow people calling Johnson a liar out with Parliamentary privilege - he can always sue and prove that he wasn't I suppose - can't imagine why he does not want what he says under legal scrutiny
And a party with a recent leader with an appalling record of anti-semitism is so much better.
The point being that most ordinary Conservative voters are not racist or extremists. Obviously on here that isn't the case as an outsider viewing this forum would assume over 90% of people support Labour.
Pretty much how I see it. This feels a bit like the end of Thatcher in 1990, but worth noting that it took another 7 years for enough folk to be pissed off enough with the Tories to vote for something else - and a Labour leader with actual policy and charisma.....Certainly appears to be unraveling. I don’t think anyone accused ordinary Tory voters of being racist or extremist, and the commonly held general view of the Labour Party on this thread is mostly the wish that they were a more effective opposition. And a party with a recent leader with an appalling record of anti-semitism is so much better.

Trouble in paradise.
Trouble in paradise.
I honestly don’t believe that. If so it’s so fucking funny, they’re like an office organising a Christmas party (no pun intended).
Anyway, I’m hearing Gove about to be Pm as interim and another farce of democracy, I mean a general election, next year.
Why, what are you going to do with the female ones?I’d like to attend… just to kick fuck out of the male members
