Arsenal (A) - Post-Match Thread

We should be proud that we have a team who really wants to win. Yes we looked jaded at times but this was mostly due to a lot of games and Arsenal playing their best game against us for years. I was impressed by their shape and boldness to push CB's up into our CM when pressing, made it very hard for us 11 v 11...They have a very good young squad..will be contenders in 2 - 2.5 years. I agree that they shot themselves in the foot with ill discipline...probably boiling over as they felt aggrieved...A tired City that really wanted it shows Champions mentality...Will be tough for Chelsea and Liverpool mentally that.

I know it's already been posted, but I'm fucking pissing myself here! Best laugh I've had all day. Disappointed with the meekness of the Arsenal fans response to the Rodri wind-up!! I wanted full-on Adebayor vintage.

That lanky streak of piss was like fuckin zeberdee at half time, giddy as fuck.
He'll be suicidal now and I can't wait.

BTsport are a disgrace, I can only presume they wanted an arsenal win.
Up yours btsport, up yours sky sports, up yours the Premier league.

They actually said at one point that nobody but City fans wanted us to win today mate.

Games like that win leagues.
Didn't deserve to win, especially after our first half performance, but won in the end.
Ake kept us in the game with supwrb blocks and tackles in the area, then the clearance off the line in the 2nd half.
Serves the Tarquins right mind for losing their heads. Scuffing up the pen spot? What the fuck did he expect? A reward?

Think arsenal kind of threw it away but such a massive win. Devastation for our rivals and that points gap is cavernous

I hit mute several times. Mcpointer for someone that played at the highest level is just plain dumb ,listening to him I question if I'm watching the same game.
The worst one was Laporte having his arm dragged up and they spent 5 minutes pretending like he'd lashed out someone and the Rodri slip after he'd already kicked the ball away and they spent ten minutes wondering why it wasn't a freekick or a card.

Now i remember why i hate all the London clubs and their media friends, always throw the toys out of the pram when things dont go their way

To be fair we didnt play well but the nonsense about the biased ref is just Arsenals own braindead players fault. Our pen was a pen, theirs wasnt, thats all there is too it no matter how much commentators will cry about it.
