My Birthday. My United. My First Game. My First Defeat.

Fancy coming all the way from India to watch(who takes their Ear Cans to a match?) United, only to find out you've got the worst seat in OT.

£500K a Week. Siuuu!

I absolutely love the idea that if United don't buck up their ideas Ronaldo will walk to a team that will match his ambitions. He is one of the reasons they're doing so poorly, and City are the last team who might be able to accommodate him and he burned that bridge in quite dramatic fashion. Where does he think he's going to go exactly?

Anybody else find this siuuuuu thing Ronaldo does absolutely cringeworthy. Might be ok for six year olds to copy it, but when you've got grown adults doing it when he scores, it makes me want to slap every one of them. Embarrassing!
When I got back from Leicester early in the season. Piccadilly was full of grown men doing his silly little dance. Grown men in replica shirts, twirling about & shouting Siu after a home win against Newcastle.
Meanwhile, hundreds of gods own were walking through, shaking their heads in embarrassment.

He disrespect the fans, he moans at team mates when they get it wrong, he doesn't press like his team mates they do the work whilst he gets the goals..... Recipe for disaster. But his cult followers won't see all that which is why it will continue and rangnick can't do anything, he has to play him, he has to work with that. "keep him happy and he wouldn't be a problem" is far from how City do things, our players work hard when things are impossible, they help each other... Ronaldo doesn't.
It wasn't that far if from how we do things if we are to believe that we were truely in for him at a lower wage.

They were shit before Ronaldo joined. Don't forget the points they wrongfully/luckily gained last season. It was ridiculous that they ended up 2nd.

I'm all for them believing that the big fix is to drop Ronaldo. :-)

There’s something serious going on at The Concrete ash tray.
* Why was Wolves goal allowed to stand. Surely VAR should have ruled it out.
* After the goal the referee had at least 20 more minutes to award at least one penalty -Why not ?

Oops it’s not 1999 anymore
You have to get in the box and force a challenge to win a dodgy pen.

I love how everyone (possibly including the united players) are blaming everything on Ronaldo. I think its the exact opposite. Ronaldo is doing his job as an aged striker. He can do no more. It's the rest of the outfield players and the manager/coach/club in general that are lacking.

For example replace Jimenez with Ronaldo and Wolves become a top 4 team instantly imo. Or put Ronaldo in Arsenal's squad or maybe even Spurs , West Ham, etc. Basically every team can carry one passenger if the rest work hard as a unit. And if that passenger is deadly inside the box then you are on the pigs' back.

The squad at united is full of weak minded, lazy, unintelligent players and/or the squad at united have suffered from a lack of coaching in any meaningful style of play for so long that they are confused and inept on the field.

Signing Ronaldo could have brought united forward but they needed more key signings and a better manager. They still do.

Shaw talking about players lacking effort imo is just BS because he didn't know what else to say. He lacks the same effort and quality as Rashford and Matic and the rest. He just doesn't want to admit that he is the problem. And long may it continue.

They are so rotten to the core. It'll take a decade to fix. (Unless they press the Super League nuclear button in the meantime)
Yeah, the answer is that United is the wrong club for him. I said at the time him playing in a front three with Foden and Jesus and Bernie sat behind him running their bollocks off so he can score tap ins would just about work, which is why we were interested, but dropping him in to that United side who don't have the fitness or tactical discipline is a disaster. He is now tearing the dressing room apart and chucking developing young players under the bus while forcing them to play a setup that doesn't work for them. Ronaldo isn't entirely to blame, but he is making things worse for them. And that lot celebrated signing him like they'd won a cup where everyone could see what was about to happen.
