We have been well rewarded - it's a fair price. I am disappointed he has gone, and I have made that clear, but if someone doesn't want to be here and the price is fair then we should always let them go. If it gives more opportunity to Cole Palmer and James McAtee then I am definitely all for it.

Always good to see ffp doing its job well.This is all about internal politics at Barca, the new President is basically trying to convince their members that everything is fine and that they are still big players. Whereas the reality is that as a business they are utterly insolvent and if they were in the UK they would be in administration. That is before you consider that the much vaunted stadium is basically falling down and in need of a near total rebuild.
I thought I'd read on here that they had plans for a refurb on the ground, again they must have found 1bn behind the cushions

Barca were never going to be in a position whereby they could register Ferran before selling other players.
They have taken a gamble that they can shift players this month to create the income to allow La Liga to pass it.
Marcotti has said this all along but he wasn’t taken seriously on BM.
IF we have agreed a clause to take him back given that Barca still owe us money from 8 years ago it’s hard to believe.
