It is increasingly starting to look like their very, very excellent team 18-20 was one put together to win a title rather than sustain success. They've got an aging squad, no midfield, an inability to manage a squad so players move on rather than stay and fight for a place, and have bought players at their peak or just past it.

They can have their pluckiest smallest biggest club all they want, they're failing to capitalise on winning the lottery in the transfer market and having the quality of manager they have and it isn't simply because we have money and they don't.
They only had access to our scouting server for so long.

That doesn't benefit them at all tho they have a very easy january with or without salah and mane i dont see how creating a fixture pile up for later on in the season helps them.
Yeah I agree actually, I was being a bit facetious. I don’t like any of the clubs left in the semis so I’d actually want a Liverpool v Chelsea final so that they both have an extra game to worry about

I wouldn't want them winning the cup but them trying to postpone everything will just hand us the title and make things much harder for them later in the season.

Regards the technicality of £50M,do you realise the cost of a bucket of mortar & half a dozen bricks,a labourer to dig a shallow hole, and the cost of a media photographer,to snap the footings of the new stadium, time to get real.
It's not like the idea was an original one. As a 16 year old youth on a YOP with NW Gas I was told regularly dug up the top layer of pavements 4' x 4' x 4", with the Ganger claiming we had found a trace of a gas leak and get a bonus for digging up a 4'x4'x4' (deep) hole which I'd get a small share of, boosting my £23.50 per week wages. I don't recall working with any Scousers out of Bradford Road Depot though.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned but Leyton Orient forfeited their game as they where unable to field a team.

Assume same will apply

Not that arsed if the game is postponed tbh. It’ll only add to their fixture backlog further down the line. A win-win situation in my eyes.
Unless they manage to change it to a one-legged affair.

I'd like to see them given three games in seven days, and when Klopp moans about it, tell him politely that City just played eight games in December, and three in a seven day period between Christmas and the new year.

Surely this can't be the same Liverpool that fell into a collective hysteria when City had a single match postponed in December last year?

They continued to complain and whine about a supposed unfair advantage for the remainder of the season, I can't imagine such a prestigious club would stoop so low as to follow similar underhanded tactics?

The game is at Emirates stadium and Arsenal are in fine form. With Liverpool not having Salah and Mane, this is a game they are very likely to lose. Klopp will avoid a fixture backlog later on by throwing away the FA Cup.

Some strong semi finals this year and I imagine the final will be good whoever makes it.
I think that the EFL have good reason to thank CITY for the commitment and integrity we have shown to this competition over the years

The Yank-owned clubs have been increasingly disrespecting it for many years - but we have always played strong teams in it.

Now - all of a sudden - it is an important competition for these clubs and the dippers are keen to get a strong team for the semi - recognising it represents probably their only realistic opportunity for silverware this year

Isn't Karma such a bitch ;-)

Cheating bAstards
They normally play their reserves in this cup And arsenal are coming into form
He is 3 players down (due to afcon) which he knew about
he just doesn’t fancy three game’s in a week
