They play Wednesday be interesting what team they play because it’s not dead plus it’s a 12:30 kick of Saturday.

What's the point of putting Chelsea down? They were supposed to be in poor form before the CL final as well because of losses in the PL and the FA Cup final.

Chelsea have top players and a top manager. We lost vs Palace and drew with Southampton who barely have 1-2 players capable of starting for Chelsea. It's football. If you don't respect the opposition, you are more likely to lose. Let's hope we will be able to field a strong team.
 
They have a midweek game as well I think, so it is all down to which of our players are fit. If more test positive next week we have a big problem, game could even be called off. We can't play them with ten of our squad positive, unless the prem believe the myth of our 50 man squad and make us play

it might seem like that but it’s wrong I haven’t
I think those 3 in the midfield is the most important part of the team and has been amazing so don’t want to break it up

I’m sure Foden KDB and Strerling might manage to get a goal or 2
 
Think they are at the beginning of an upturn in form. They were better than Liverpool last Sunday and played well v Spurs on Wednesday. It looks like the Lukaku incident has perked them back up.

Hopefully we can steer clear of any further Covid cases and the lads who have it can come through ok in time to be involved.
 
It'll be a tough game, they look ike they're regaining some form and we've looked a bit off it recently, even if we have got the results.

I agree. Chelsea's season low point has been and is gone.

Lukaku has perked them up? I hope he plays next weekend as he looked back to his overweight worst, with his atypical poor touch. Been raiding the fridge over Christmas a bit too much. Just relieved we didnt buy him.

Expect us to play our normal possession game , but Chelski cannot play like Wolves or all the other teams that come to the Etihad , they have to win , which means they will be vulnerable.
 
Don't usually like players being targeted — don't hold with it, at all — but I hope somebody's informally taken out a contract on Rudiger. It's not just the CL final. He is a deeply dirty player.
For a team that's had oodles of talent over the years, they certainly like to have their resident hit man. Think of Costa.

Rudiger is a nasty piece of work, he will get his come uppence one day, but main priority is the 3 points.
