With Chelsea likely to land Rice then, and Fernandinho leaving at the end of the season, would Bissouma or possibly bringing back Douglas Luiz be a shout for cover and rotation with Rodri?

Nope. Bissouma was liked but his off field issues will put paid to a move anytime soon.

Luiz isn't good enough and our £25m buyback has now expired.

FDJ is staring us in the face and literally begging us to broker something with Barca.

We don't just need a back up for Rodri, it's such a pivotal position with massive drop off in quality, such is how reliant we were on Fern and now Rodri.

FDJ would be a dream signing for us.

Bissouma would be a fantastic signing but too bad he’s too horny .

Raz for FdJ if Raz doesn't sign a new deal. Both parties would be happy with that I assume, FDJ gets a new team, City get someone who can really push Rodri for that spot, Raz gets to play in Spain. Seems a sensible deal to do.

I don't doubt you, just a bit surprised we didn't try to get him as part of the Torres deal then.
 
Zakaria & Kamara both up for grabs for under 10m, Touchameni price is rumoured about 30. FDJ is alot when there are options out there.

i actually think he is a great player and would of been superb for us, i'm sure i read hes got 18 months left on his contract,if that's true and if he wont sign a new deal this summer would be the time to sell him

Real value is when everything is added into a transfer or as I like to phrase it "when city sign someone"
Fee.
Wages.
Bonuses.

Announced value is when the media tell everyone a player cost 30m plus add ons, when really it cost 60m or as I like to phrase it "when utd sign someone".

It's quite terrible phrased so I can see the confusion, this is what passed.

City gave Otamendi + 50m for Dias. So the "Real" value of 50m is how much money actually exchanged.

City and Benfica decided Otamendi was worth 21.6m which Benfica added to the 50m to say City paid a total of 71.6m in assets (money + player) which is what they "Announced".
