Turned over for the last ten minutes of the Liverpool/Arsenal game last night only to hear such commentary gems as “Liverpool - the club for whom winning trophies is an obsession” and
“Liverpool will now head to Wembley to reclaim Anfield south” !!! Were Liverpool TV the host broadcaster last night ??? Jesus wept

Incredible commentary. The Anfield of the South WTF.

We'll never be considered "great" until we win that fucking cup competition and even if we do we will then not be considered "great" until we repeat in Europe and even then.....you get the idea.
And if we won it every season for the next 10 seasons, it'd be 'Has the CL been devalued?'

Who said that crap.
They must have rented out their southern Anfield as apart from when we won against there it's a long time since they were there.

Don't worry yourself. The BBC have gone all in with afcon as they don't want to be seen as racist. It's a tinpot tournament with little or no quality but they have to be seen to be treating it seriously incase someone accuses them of you know what.

Similar thing with women's football, absolutely shite but we've all got to pretend it's a serious creditable watchable thing.......when in fact it's rubbish.

The BBC PL table has teams slotted into some kind of order and I noticed that the Rags are slotted in by themselves into what was SEVENTH place. Is it a top seven notion now or does seventh place deliver some kind of extra-competition - European Conference?

The seventh place gets them into the European equivalent of the Sherpa Van Trophy.
