I've missed that look of anger at his team for playing badly whilst simultaneously doing fuck all about it.

He comes across as a decent enough chap so I have no ill-feelings towards him...despite him being an ex-rag.

Yeah he does seem ok to be fair. Along with Bruce I think even for there past I don’t mind them.
I stand to be corrected but hughes has never been particularly resentful towards city or bad mouthed us to often.

His sacking was handled shoddily but I think that can also be put down to having new owners to the world of football.
He did really well at Blackburn and implemented a lot of good things at the Welsh set up. He had to change the culture and thinking at city and was for the first time in his career manage actual world class footballers. It didn’t work out but he was originally brought to the club under different circumstances to the ones he found himself a little while later.

I like Bradford And I hope it works well for all involved there.

Think this season is one to draw a line under and let him build for next year. If he has good connections in the game could work in your favour getting loans in from the PL.

We played them earlier on in the season and yesterday and on both occasions they looked bang average which shows what a real mess we have made of this season :( it really is a poor league the only team that have impressed are Mansfield they should go up automatically............ we just need a good end to the season and go for it next term ........... Hughesto his credit has started rebuilding the bond between the fans and the players....... the players themselves look happier so things are starting to look up

After your first two results - both wins, I think - my former partner at work placed a bet on you winning promotion this season.

I told him at the time that I thought he was being a bit premature.

Gaps to big for that we would need to win all our remaining games which won’t happen ........... the major thing when Hughes came in was to halt the slide he has done that ........... all he needs to do is finish the season off with a strong finish ........ we got beat by Swindon last week but most folk walked away happy that at least we looked like a team that was trying to win games unlike Adams whose all basis was being negative ............
