A recent study. I think, showed that 25% of the population have twitter, of that it's around another 25% that regularly use it and engage in political discussions. Of that tiny minority is a minority who will be writing No to Nato.
A lot of the media use twitter as some sort of barmometer of what the public is saying but it's what a minority of people are.
I think I saw another study, can't remember where, that showed Facebook had more of an influence on peoples thinking.

Fair enough - similar to Facebook etc using the 'russian state' label on some posters I suppose.Most who regularly listen too/watch public media in the USA are such - that is discerning individuals.
And yet... one still wonders. Might some few believe what they hear from Russian propagandists?
I think I favor such coverage - at the same time, I think that some sort of disclaimer should precede this material, e.g., "So-and-so is a member of the Russian state-controlled media and what you are about to hear is likely the Russian state position on topics discussed. We bring this coverage to you in an attempt to provide balance; be aware though that the following interviewee likely represents official Russian state doctrine."

Doubt she is capable of taking control of Belarus.

To be fair, without starting another cold war how can you plan for this?Yes, this was the argument used by the globalists to belittle people when they were warning that financing and enabling corrupt regimes like Russia and China wasn't the smartest policy in the world. Plus we as fans have to be able to separate the UAE from our football club. Politics and sport does not mix. If you want to have a pop out our owner over something he has actually said and done as a private citizen then fair enough but we are not owned by Abu Dhabi.There was a thread on this. Listen to what the UAE delegate had to say. They opposed the violence, called for de-escalation and called for all member states rights to sovereignty and independence to be respected. It looks more like the abstention was more a "what's the point in voting when Russia is just going to veto it anyway".

It was always the biggest sanction we could put in because it hurts everyone but it could well be the game changer.
Once the Oligarchs tell Putin, enough is enough then it’s game over and their money disappearing will make them do just that imo.
Putin won’t want to come out of this penniless either as he negotiates a quite life for himself somewhere safe in exchange for going away.

That is not true. Boris may be a fool but has installed sanctions on the banks ,sent weapons and instigated the removal of Russia from SWIFTSo similar to Johnson then, apart from not asking for the war to be stopped.

He did sanction 3 oligarchs and postpone some tennis matches, to be fair to him.
