Russia doesn't have enough missiles. They are desperately short for a campaign lasting many weeks according to military experts quoted in the Times and Telegraph.
They do however have a lot of artillery with Thermobaric weaponry and if they start using that then many Ukrainian civilians will die.

In raw terms the more Russians die the better as the conflict will be over sooner.

Can understand where you are coming from but a lot of Russian soldiers are young conscripts and probably want nothing to do with it. They have no choice and are being sent to be slaughtered.

From it's specification, the T-14 is a step change in tank design. Probably exceding the capabilities of Western MBTs. However it looks like the Javelin long range and NLAW short range anti tank missiles are taking a very heavy toll of Russian armoured vehicles.
The NLAW especially is extremely dangerous to armoured vehicles, as it fits in the back seat of any car making any car a mobile anti-tank unit. It also doesn't need specialised training like the Javelin.
You have to advance slowly with infantry protection and then exploit break throughs something the Russians have not been doing so far.

Yeah the T-14 is a new type of MBT development - no one in turret, 3 man crew in armoured capsule in the base. It's almost like a half way house between the traditional MBT's, and potential future drone tanks.

Cruise missiles can be shot down by stingers, Ukraine already has them and more are coming.

A Ukrainian jet shot down a cruise missile this morning.

This IMO is Putins problem - the more he attacks, the more weapons the west sends.

First we sent small arms, now people are sending artillery and the Turks have sent drones.

If Putin starts using more indiscriminate weapons, the west will give Ukraine the tools to fight that.

China is in a bit of a dilemma as regards Russia.
If China were to stick to its' own ideals and distance itself from the extreme, aggressive, Russian action it would gain a lot of credit imo.

Just showed a little girl on a toy scooter crossing the Polish border with her mum. Obviously too young (thankfully) to really understand what's going on, but she was enjoying the scooter ride ;-)
My granddaughter in the Czech Republic was 4 last week, so of the same age. We bought her a similar scooter (with flashing lights!) for her birthday present. That kind of stuff brings it home to you how that image of the Ukranian little girl connects to all of us in some way.
She could have been any child in a park anywhere in the world on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Except she isn't.
