Newspapers should and should fact check better, several have posted misinformation picked up off social media of both russian and ukrainian sources found to be old footage and even from video games.

Yes it's surreal but then every dangerous situation is. Even more surreal is that in all these situations there is usually a deranged psychopath in charge of a country causing death and destruction that nobody steps in and stops. There's probably lots of his people thinking, "This guy is nuts his actions could destroy the world and us with it" but nobody has the courage to remove him from power.

How long do we realistically think Ukraine can hold out if/when Russia really ramps it up ?

I was born in 76, so until 1994 I lived under the spectre of possible nuclear war.

This is old hat, now as with then, if it happens not much I can do, but I still need to eat and pay the gas bill so not worth worrying about till I hear the sirens go off.

Why would they do that? They’re businesses - if they don’t receive revenue then they’ll cease to exist and then there’s no news at all.

Or we could get the state to prop them up - a bit like Russia!

I have a staff member from Siberia, tbf she is disgusted with whats going on and call putin a bastard.

Targeting the russian dispora who are poor working people who probably have left because of his regiem would not cause revolution in moscow.

Agree it is best to target the rich cunts yachts and holiday villas and flat though as all are fair game, if one of those millionaire is willing to use their influence to duspose of putin

No, the ones that matter to Putin In the major urban cities where US-European -style capitalism thrives already.

They don’t want to go back to 1960s!
