Very emotional from him and what he spouts is bang on the nail but he didn’t mention the elephant in the room “the Glaziers”. Whilst they own the club the rags will carry on floundering. Please stay for ever.
That's the biggest crock of shit being spouted by the Rags.

They are still spending big and pay the highest wages.

The Glazers is just an excuse because they're shit.
Before them a Rag didn't have a nice word to say about Edwards and his Father before him.

Yes you can point at the Glazers employing the wrong people, but it's not through a lack of splashing the cash!

Exactly- when then do get responsible owners who are finacially sensible and who won't pay exorbitant wages and squander vast fees on supposed other team's targets, they'll be inventing another scalf against them.

They really are lost in the 90s.

Rumours of rashford weighing up his future!

saw that PSG would be interested to replace Mbappe, I can really see this happening and them paying 80-100 million for him!

fact is he is a massively overrated player and would get found out when he doesn’t perform in a foreign league, the media wouldn’t protect him like the British media do here
He's out of contract next season

They've 5 out of contract this and 9 next
Any rebuild they do won't be funded by massive player sales, so they're going to have to dig in and pay out 600 mil or try to persuade some to stay on extra wages

Most if not all of the TV pundits seem to want the rags to do better, giving their opinions on how to improve their lot.

Just let them rot on the vine, I want them out of business without a home, repossessed and the bailiffs swarming over it to dismantle it.

The swamp needs to be an Amazon warehouse as quickly as possible.
Amazon deliver their huge cardboard boxes quicker than the rags team move round the pitch.

You could accuse the Glazers of not making Woodward do his job well. He‘s been able to throw stupid money at players without understanding the game.

If the Glazers had appraised Woodward properly and fired him 8 years ago, then they could have had a coherent plan under a good director of football and spent their money more wisely.
Shhhh. Don't give them ideas. They're doing just fine as they are.
Let's hope that Threeplanks' successor is as clued up as he was. They're from the same stock, aren't they?

Woodward did a great job for the Glazers.
He orchestrated the leveraged buy-out, he‘s made them many millions and they’re well chuffed with him because they’re not in it for the glory they’re in it for the money.
If their main aim was footballing success then they wouldn’t have employed him but their main aim was filling their coffers and that’s why they employed him in his capacity as a cut throat investment banker.

A prime example is the Ronaldo contract. It was nothing to do with football and everything to do with temporarily maximising the share price to enable the Glazers to take advantage.

The Glazers wanted money to buy an Indian professional cricket team to expand their sports empire. Woodward organised a share sell off and took Ronaldo onboard to give a lift to the share price so that the Glazers could take advantage of the temporary hike.
Ronaldo goes through the door, the share price goes up, Glazers push out the already arranged share sale and take a bundle of money and buy the cricket team then the share price subsides again.
If they’d had a CEO who understood football and wanted to win honours then he’d have refused to take the old crock and the Glazers wouldn’t have their multimillion pound Indian cricket club.
