River play some really good football, just too many mistakes at the back. Don't think 4-4-2 would work over here nowadays but style of play Gallardo seems to have a Pep approach and would be an interesting replacement.

Lost 1-0. Very City-esque, dominated the game, had all the chances, missed some good ones (including Alvarez) then sucker-punched by a defensive howler.

I find him extremely overrated and there’s no way I see him leaving Argentina straight to a top PL club.
