I was on stag one night with a lad from Dudley, nice lad the night was going along fabulously. In the wee hours a figure came stumbling out of the housing block and ricocheted up to the gate.

It was my stag partners wife, she had obviously been helping another squaddie by ironing his clothes and getting him ready for work next morning, they had to lock the lad up he was fuming and they sent his wife home via the duty driver. Next day he was allocated a billet in camp and the wife was sent packing not long after.
