Atletico is perfect for Gundogan, Mahrez and Grealish to come in.

Keep the ball, defend from their box and keep probing for a second goal. Make them chase the game.

That front 3 and midfield today needs to start in the cup, it had Liverpool on toast. Outfought them, outpaced them, outskilled them.

That’s where the strength in depth shows. Those 3 players would have been a poor choice from the start today but would defo be my choice against the Spanish filth.

I have arrived home feeling disappointed. Yet again we were far the better team but wasted numerous chances. It is so frustrating how wasteful we are in front of goal. We were superb, can't fault us with fine margins such has hitting the post 3 times. Play like that in each of our last games and we win the league. Would have taken a point going in to thengame, feeling disappointed purely because we were ahead.

managed just like F1. That game was a pefect advert for the premier league ans the ref/var werent going to risk ruining the spectacle with a red card. The threshold for a red today was absurd.

Those is the issue there's was no ability to tell if they calculated it correctly. Just a released still. We should be seeing them work out the time frame to use which should be the moment it the player kicks the ball or just after if that doesn't exist. Then we should see the lines being drawn. What we get is hidden stuff that can be manipulated

Match of the Day gave the game away a few weeks ago when they actually showed the late Mahrez goal in the Derby to be onside. They showed that they have the ability to see the action frame by frame until the absolute correct point at which the first touch of the ball was made in order to make the correct decision.

Never seen them do that before or since.

For me, after seeing that, the fact that we are still getting still images with a stretched ball or ones which are clearly much later than the first point of contact proves, to me at least, that manipulation for "entertainment" reasons is rife.

well he didnt cripple him since he was up and walking in 30 seconds. it was a single footed challenge that caught the ankle = yellow in the history of modern football

Thiago caught KDB after already being fouled hence the ref cant really judge it a yellow for the position on the pitch etc and only look for red for violent conduct. VAR also cannot issue a second yellow.
