Agree that Liverpool’s midfield is there to be taken, as we did. The movement of their front three is incredible though. We saw a level today from City, which, at times, is miles beyond anyone else playing the same game today.
We should have been three or four goals to the good in the first half.
A crazy opening ten-minute spell at the start of the second half cost us the three points, but we were still the team asking most of the questions.
Thought Ederson, Cancelo and Stones were ropey and Sterling was caught on his heels a too few many times, but all the lads showed the intensity we are going to need to win our remaining games.
Thought Rodri, Kev, Bernie and Phil were immense but Gabby was the best player on the pitch.
Liverpool were ordinary, to the point you wonder how they would manage without one of their strikers not coming to the rescue, as their midfield is fucking woeful.
Their two central defenders look more like WWE wrestlers than footballers. We saw a level today from City, which, at times, is miles beyond anyone else playing the same game today.

And Miserable Danny Murphy will agree.MOTD will make it seem like an even game. Should be fun.
Sterling was the right choice to start but he didn't help himself. The right tactic was to play the ball long towards him, Foden or Jesus, all of whom have pace and would beat van Dijk and Matip. We know Ederson can do that with great accuracy.A lot of negativity on here about Sterling from people who are better tacticians than Pep. Maybe there was a reason we played our three fastest pressing forwards against a team whose most dangerous attack is a direct long ball counter, can't imagine what that would be.
That deluded scouse prick will say they deserved a point and it’s a better result for them. Can just hear him saying it nowAnd Miserable Danny Murphy will agree.
Shit, forgot about that bulb. And Miserable Danny Murphy will agree.
They won’t even tell us what the margin of error is for the tech. Major games being decided by it. AwfulWhich is exactly what they want us to do, sadly.
But I can’t fault anyone for that reaction. It’s disheartening to see the sport you love so clearly transitioning in to WWE-like theatre.

...but is it the correct frame? Doesn't look like the "first point of contact when the ball is played" to me.It was to be fair mate. Raz's shoulder is ahead of Matip's foot... JUST!
Completely agree with the midfield of Liverpool, I think we seen an enormous gap in terms of quality. Bernardo was outstanding along with KDB and Rodri. I do rate Fabinho for the Dippers but I think we have the better player in Rodri in that holding area.We saw a level today from City, which, at times, is miles beyond anyone else playing the same game today.

We’ve started the second half poorly all season, i said it right from the off in the early games this season, this is from September:Wtf we do in the dressing room at half time just beats me.

OK bud , I will try and protect a much valued member of this group. I have my values you have yours. Now fuck offFine, then let her. What I can't take on board is you behaving like a crying child. Get off your horse and wind your neck in, you baby.
That was really sloppy from Grealish and actually could have cost us. Pep will be showing him that I’m sure.Thought we were brilliant today against a really good team. Laporte and Stones were imperious, Rodri, KDB and Silva bossing the midfield. Foden gave another quality performance and Jesus had a great game and scored a great goal.
The disappointment is that with a top striker we win that game easily, Jesus had 2 chances to square ball for a potential shot and hit side netting and Grealish near the end has to play KDB in.
