Ref Watch

dermott on Fabinho challange " not enough contact "
Not seen it back yet, but it looked to me like it was reckless, out of control, studs up, both feet off the ground lunge, and severely endangered an opponent. Did Dermott mention this? Who did he have on nodding along, the even handed Steven warnock?

he's not been on yet im just pre empting what he's programmed to say

According to Dermott, the ref got every decision right, no red card for fabinos leg breaker on bernie, tiago was shin on shin with kev, offside all day long for raz, how he keeps a straight face is laughable.

Weak referee, not the best to control a game against time wasting, cheating and faking. No history with us. Was the referee for Atletico 2-3 Liverpool this season that gave Griezmann a red card. They know him well and we don’t.

Well according to Dermot, the Rag had a great game and managed it with the correct level of tolerance - following the Sky rhetoric.
He said on another day some of those challenges might have been judged differently. In other words he was determined to keep it at 11v11
I honestly think he was under orders to ignore the LotG which makes the PL an unfair competition over the course of the season.

No mention of the potential pen on Gabby, further fouls by Fabinho ignored, you wouldn’t even know Thiago played watching ref watch, and it’s ok for refs to referee a game how they see fit if it ends up a decent game wtf?!

Sue Smith "that Fabhio tackle should be an orange"

What the actual fuck????
If its not a yellow, its a red. Whoever said they'd whitewash the decisions on "ref watch" was spot on. Not like Fabinho's was a glancing hook, it was full on the ankle with the ball gone. As for Rodri's phantom push on Thiago causing him to slice De Bruyne, Fabinho steamrolling into Jesus in the first half, flooring Walker in the build up to KDBs goal. They see things however suits them. Downright laughable!

When you reflect on the umpteen fouls committed by Liverpool yesterday & the situations & in which they where committed, you can’t help feeling like the commentators/Sky/media would of come up with some kind of definition or terminology had that been us, you know the type, ‘sports-washing’ tactical-fouls’
