They don't have to agree with anything. If Haaland signs a 6-year deal and 3-5 years into it he wants to leave, then the club won't stand in his way.

Exactly, history tells you this, Sane, Torres etc. We'd be looking at a £200m transfer fee so it'd be a win/win regardless.

For what it's worth I get the feeling there are still legs in this, feels to me like City have everything in place to complete it with the player & have an understanding with his representative's, but that it is still in open play.

When noise comes that we are triggering the release clause, I think you can take it to the bank that it is done.

This Haaland crap is all bollocks. It has always been there but have you noticed how much it's been hyped up since we drew Madrid in semis. I can almost see the papers on sun/mon/tue stating how Haaland has rejected city. (hope I'm amazingly wrong)
