Lol sorry, I'll dip back out of here and take the Rudiger chat back to the Chelsea thread.

Question to you lot about Haaland though, do you think landing him would you make you unstoppable or do think there could be issues with meshing the type of striker he is with City's style of football? Or somewhere in between?
I can understand why you ask. Lukaku.

No team is unstoppable. And not many City fans think that way.

Will he make us better? I’d like to think so. And that’s because hardly any player we get in fails to get better. Although some need a season.

There's no such thing as unstoppable but he will make us better, yes. Different, but better. Probably less fluid in attack but more deadly.

When we played Dortmund he was terrifying, you have to pay so much attention to him.

Anyone heard Klinsmann’s thoughts on Haaland coming to city? Apparently our rotation system will damage his confidence and impede his development!
Lol yeah like playing every minute with injuries aint gonna do the same thing. Everyone hates us!!

Guys, I am new here, really excited about the Haaland deal. Does anyone have any idea why triggering a release clause is taking so much time?
I'd hazard a guess, and its just a guess, that its for squad harmony purposes, not wanting to disrupt a crucial part of our CL / PL seasons by clearly stating that (insert player)'s services will no longer be required next year.

If we didnt have anything to compete for it wouldve been announced already, imo.

Then again, if we didnt have anything to compete for, he probably wouldnt want to join.

All of this is just my opinion, naturally.

It's not triggering the release clause that takes time. It's negotiating a contract between the parties worth hundreds of millions of pounds. Possibly more significantly, it is in nobody's interest to release any deal whilst the season plays out.

Bundesliga do very well with their videos. His stats are incredible, also seems a big game player

nobhead you lad. guy has just made an account, says he’s excited about a deal and is just trying to gain some information on a forum full of like minded people. no need to scrutinise or make him feel small
His account dates back to 2015 lol. I am not making him feel small, I’m just clarifying an information, things are on regular course. Stop misinterpreting everything I post and calling me names
