A lover spurned
I don’t think we would want to sign a player that needs to hear that we wouldn’t stand on his way if he wanted to leave, let alone mentioning any specific club. The same way this vinculantismo theory nonsense that claims that Real Madrid has an agreement that allows them to match any offer and if they do, the player can’t go anywhere else. Mind you, this theory is an Internet bullshit that no one even remotely serious in Madrid touches, but I’m just bringing it up to say that in a scenario like that there’s no way we would even start a negotiation alsoAgreed, but we were talking about what Ballague had said/claimed was said. It's not a stretch or unbelievable that it wasn't discussed. I doubt however it was the deal maker. Anyway, were off on a tangent now
Rashford is another alternative.Madrid can always go for Kane instead!
Youve been under sanctions for a month mate. Chelsea could have offered him whatever in the last three years.Chelsea can't offer him anything because of the sanctions. Now, reportedly each remaining bidder has made extending his contract a top priority, but in this weird in between period where we effectively have no owners, he can't be offered a new contract. He wants to stay, but his agent is doing what he's supposed to do and that's to court attention and get him as many offers as possible. It's why I say if we lose him it's because the timing didn't align for us.
Currently the timeline for the ownership situation is mid-May at the latest. If we have new owners by then, there's a good chance he stays. If there is a further delay in the process, I can imagine he might not want to chance it and lose the offer from Real Madrid.
Sticky situation with these sanctions.
I think he’ll be best in his 8th season with usIf he signs, I think he'll definitely be better in his second season
Is Teabag(Tebas) keeping his gunpowder dry?
He’s not mentioned City in ages.
I expect that will change instantly when Haaland signs for City, and not for Teabag’s beloved Real Madrid.
So we've got Ballbag and Teabag now. I like.
And Ten Rag. Different thread.

AS Is a Madrid based paper I assume? Loads and loads of nonsense written there

I don't think it'll be a struggle - we basically just need him to put the ball in the net. The finer details of playing Pep football will take a bit of time, but won't prevent him from being clinical in front of goal
Now I’m curious. They say Christian Falk came up with this “1 year” nonsense but I can’t find it anywhere. Spanish newspapers (Madrid and Barcelona) have a bizarre habit of making wild claims using the name of journalists from elsewhere, and when they publicly call out the bullshit, they delete or edit the storyEdit : read in detail, yup just recycled trash fromBILD including this nonsense that city will sign him for 1 year only
