Erling Haaland

After seeing how utterly bang average Sancho just looked for Utd, I wonder if Haaland is as good as he seems. Unless Bundesliga defences are utter shite and these great players aren’t actually quite so great..

I’m sure it was just an off day for Sancho, but on that showing he would be nowhere near our front three

Haaland has given teams fits in Cl which obviates this a bit but I do worry that the Bundesliga is inflating stats. Andre Silva did nothing in Milan or Sevilla and tore the league up. Jovic looked like a world beater and couldn’t even crack the lineup at Madrid. Werner was prolific as was Havertz and neither have approached their highs in Prem yet at all.

He’s just as good if not better in the CL (Think his conversion rate in CL is like 40%).

Although he didn’t score against us you could tell in both games how much just his presence effects defences.

Next summer is actually a very interesting one, in terms of attracting any top, particularly young, player. Because Pep will only have one year left on his contract, which weakens our biggest draw. Players will want to come to play for him, but on longer. Unless he extends of course.

Which is why Inthought this was The summer to secure the big and long term targets.
Pep will stay as long as he wants. He clarified that on Friday
