I’m genuinely excited about the potential ridiculous signings they’ll make over the next few years. I think they’re going to be a really fun team to watch. Anyone know any solid links to new players for them?

Say what you like about Howe, but he has done a fantastic job at the Toon. First defeat in nine for them.

I still don’t think he is the man to take them to challenging for the top four and title, but he has plenty of experience at the bottom of the Premier League, which has proved invaluable this season
Plenty on here are a bit sniffy about Howe. The measure of a manager of a club with limited resources is how they beat expectations as well as the type of football they play.
For me, Howe did everything needed to show his talent but it is hard to tell whether he can do it at the top. Will be interesting to watch recruitment and the development of the side over the next few years. Only then will a fair judgement be possible.
From a hopeless position they now have 40 points. Time was when we put the flags out for that!
Fwiw, I think he will do well. Just a feeling in my bones.

Hold my hands up and say I had my doubts about Howe, but he has done well so far. I still don't think he's the man for the job if/when they start pushing for top 4/title spots, but maybe he will prove me wrong again.

He is doing good things so far. Getting the right players in, players that are willing to fight for the club and not just chasing a giant pay package.

i don't think the newcastle owners brought in Eddie Howe for the long term ? but will give him a chance next season
much like sparky at city the new owners did give him the chance. but soon found out that if you want to be mixing with the big teams then you need a manager players will respect and want to play for

I agree,,, when they start to find out that the big players they enquire about are put off by the manager not being a big enough name... he's toast

Not a chance these get anything from the victims, they'll roll over and get their tummies tickled like they always do, then come out all guns blazing against us.
Think your probably right as they're quite similar being two Citys not far from the coast, both with speech impediments.
They'll help each other out.

What a great run they are on now the expectations for start of next season goes up ten fold but I think the Newcastle fans be level headed and pushing for top 8 they’ll be happy with.
