Players who might improve us

Half of this forum says he's a **** but no idea if he has actually done or said something or if its just because he's scouse.

Anyway he reminds me of Sane
Is he that quick? Not seen him play.

Sane for me was an F1 car on the open road when in full flow. Shame we don’t have a like for like replacement for him.

I will say it again - Anthony Gordon is going to be some player
Yep,ive been championing him myself.

Fast, direct, aggressive, gret engine and plenty of heart - not convinced Pep wouldnt coach the first two out of him......but IMO all attributes we could do with more of.

counts as home grown as well..
Another added bonus. Seems like Real are already sniffing around but I don't see why we can't bump them off, we are the new attraction. I think it could really happen as Bayern have an abundance of pacey wingers and wide midfielders - Leroy, Coman, Davies, Gnabry. Snapping gnabry off their hands for anything within the 40 -50m range would be very good business.

Enlighten me…..
Look at the quality of players we have at the EDS! if we want young players with potential, we have them at the EDS. We already have a "prospect" player in Alvarez coming in, we can't bring Gordon in, no need to spend a lot of money on more "prospects" when we have Palmer, Edozie, McAtee, Kaykee.

We have boys who can do what Gordon does! What we need now are players who would hit the ground running and immediately impact the team. These are the type of players the dippers keep going for and look at the impact Konate, Jota and Diaz have had this season! These type of signings are what keep a team in or out of the title race! Look how the Grealish signing has turned out so far, luckily we have strong figures who have all played a vital role in keeping us ahead of the dippers this season!

We risk doing an "Arsenal" if we keep making these "prospect" or "potential" signings like Ferran or Grealish (players who need half a season or an entire season to come good). If we are going to let Sterling or Jesus go, then we have to bring in players who can have an immediate impact and go on to play at the highest level for the next 6 or 7 years while we slowly introduce the EDS boys to the first team.

Let's leave Gordon to Arsenal or Spurs for now, maybe in 3 years he would be good enough!
