Tierney was fucking shocking today.

He allowed dirty Leeds to get away with far too many bad challenges. This led directly to Dallas' injury.

The standard of officiating in this country really is appalling.

Spot on. The Sky interviewer was hoping to trip up Pep, Aymeric or Ilkay, hoping anyone would say he lost consciousness - then they'd be pushing for him to be left out due to the concussion protocols. Glad we didnt seem to say anything wrong.

I think both sets of fans would agree he was awful today, for different reasons. Didn't clamp down on the shithousery despite producing a card in the 6th minutes which was actually applauded.

But his ineptness was bound to cause an injury today although I'm only surprised it was one of theirs doing himself in, trying to do in one of ours.

Poor from Tierney today.

Two blatant fouls where Foden then Grealish didn’t go down but were affected enough to lose possession that weren’t given, epitomises what’s wrong with this sport so much. Diving was being encouraged by the referee there. Neither needed to go down and chose not to dive, but we’re punished for not doing so.

Then his reluctance to have a word with the Leeds captain and bring out the yellow card a few more times, ended up with JR Ewing ending his own season as he thought he could run round fouling our lads with impunity.

Serves the **** right, but all down to Tierney losing control of the game.

As it goes, I actually don’t think it was a foul that was given as a free kick for the opening goal, so fuck em!
