I have only ever used a razor to line up my beard/stubble or just to clean it up when its scruffy. I ordered one of those safety razors a couple years ago with a pack of 100 blades for about £100, still going strong. I have some shaving soap but i've found the oils are the best, i got the King of Shavers sensitive oil and i feel it's much better than the soap because you can actually see what you're doing. Also doesn't feel as bad afterwards. I also use Proraso before and after shaving, def helps if you're skin is a bit sensitive.

Didn't shave for 6 months but now l can't get a clean shave from bic disposables so interesting alternatives on here for me. I believe the disposable bits are not recyclable either.
