I went back to shaving with a double-edge safety razor a few years ago, after 30 years of using the cartridges. The shave is so much better and it has been fun trying out different blades and soaps.

Soap and proper blades. Fucking hate shaving, absolute waste of ten minutes of the day. Only shave when it looks a mess or my better half nags me.

Ha ha just had to shave my two months of growth off as wife said it makes me look 10 years older, oh and I’m on a promise tonight ;)

I'm celebrating the season, its time for long pants and sleeves. Shorts and vest tops put away with the razors til spring.

I hope that this double edge razor is better than the straight edge I bought after reading on here how good they were. I felt that I couldn’t get as close a shave with it even after watching a dozen vids on Utube. I bought a Dovo straight razor and I did persevere with it for several months and even left it for a while and came back but just doesn’t give me a good enough shave.
