Real Madrid (A) Post Match Thread

football has genuinely never made me feel worse than tonight. i feel tired, embarrassed, heartbroken, furious, devastated, gutted and let down all at once. how the fuck do our CL failures manage to get worse every year? I thought 18/19 was rock bottom, then the final, and now this? we don’t deserve it. i am absolutely inconsolable - feels like my world has crashed down around me.
jesus mate. i take it your under 16 years old? listen.....its a knock out cup...literally anything can happen.
i was pissed off at final whistle but i was half and half wether we would get to final. its gone. get over it and get to the game on sunday and support the lads

Why oh why did no one feel the urgency of closing down those 2 crosses into our box for the goals. They should have put their bodies on the line. Instead of Cancelo crossing a ball into their keepers hands in the final minutes, why were we not taking the ball into the corners, getting cramp etc. So frustrating.

The lads will actually need us..properly..like old teams back in the day needed their fans. I think they tried enough to warrant our unwaivering and loud support ..a massive applaus on our feet stuff next home game
As fans, we need to be up for this game from the beginning and create an intimidating atmosphere that our team feeds off and we need to keep it going until we win!

Gutting, ballsed it up right at the end when the tie should have been dead and buried way earlier than that. Pep for once didn't over think it and only made one mistake, bringing on Grealish, but the players let him down at the last. Has to be said though, the CL is a despicable competition rigged even worse than the Pl, that referee was beyond bent in everything he did.

Particularly gutted for Walker and Bernardo who really didn't deserve that.
Has Grealish not been good for you this season then? I haven't been able to watch as many City games this year as I'd ideally like, and he hasn't been in many of the ones I have seen.

Nothing to do with UEFA,luck, fate, dodgy ref, we royally fucked it up.
I blamed Pep after last year but not this time.
We did nothing in extra time..just nothing.Needing a goal Sterling and Grealish did nothing. We didn’t look like scoring as Real pressed and we had no answer.

Said to my lad at 83 minutes this isn't over

Only City can lose big occasions like tonight fucking shambles
Liverpool mate messaged me "Congrats, see you in Paris" and my dad who supports Chelsea texted "looks like City are in the final". Told both of them to shut it and unfortunately turned out to be correct. I hate it when I'm right.

How the fuck are we gonna lift ourselves for Sunday? We’re demoralised and totally knackered
When we went out on the dodgy handball decision to Spurs, we came back on the Saturday and gutted out a gritty win over the same Spurs team with Foden getting the winner. More of the same please.

If my memory serves me - we have won crucial games against the barcodes towards the end of the season which put us on the road to titles. Same again this week lads.

Had the same thing happen with a mate in the pub and told him he jinxed us. And he did.

This fucking competition causes nothing but grief

Liverpool, Spurs, Lyon, Chelsea … now tonight

5 of the biggest kick in the bollocks we’ve had in the last 20 years

wish European competition didn’t exist
Me too, hate it …. and for tonight (maybe longer) I actually hate football and how it makes me feel. Brings out the absolute worst in me, no wonder my heart is fvcked.

The team we had on the pitch in extra time was supposed to protect a lead not score goals. Game was over as soon as normal time finished, might as well have not bothered with the extra 30 minutes
