The players only have themselves to blame for going out. You can't miss so many chances and exlect to go through. We should have been ready for the late onslaught though. Was always coming and was always going to be through crosses. We didn't stop the ball coming in well enough and the defensive shape was poor. No one stood up and dealt with things. Someone needed to fall over and fake an injury and just wind down the clock.
We got what we deserved.
But we move on. Newcastle game is huge.
