I'm surprised, I thought everyone hated us. Lots of people wanting us to go down this season.
We've had our differences down the seasons but I don't know one single supporter from City or any other club who hates Everton or (Burnley and Leeds apart) want you relegated. I doubt any City fan would miss either of those two. The new ground will give you a wonderful chance to compete against the red shirts and if Newcastle and West Ham join you in keeping the verminous trio in check alongside us, football will be in a better place.

I've seen a few people on here who want us to go down.

Not gonna lie, I'm dreading the Villa game. Not just because it's a must-win for City, but because of Gerrard's role in it.

Does anyone know who's on var duty tonight? It wouldn't by any chance be a certain Mr England, would it?
Think it's Aldo, Hendo and Tosh.

Edit: Just checked and it's this wonderful bunch. Referee: Martin Atkinson. Assistants: Constantine Hatzidakis, Richard West. Fourth official: David Coote. VAR: Stuart Attwell. Assistant VAR: Adam Nunn.

Not me mate.
After your blip this year hopefully you’ll be back next season creating chaos against the Worlds bestest ever team :-)

The Villa players should be playing for themselves and the fans, not for the weird media obsession of revenge for the boss who was incapable of winning the title himself. If I was a Villa fan, I wouldn't be very pleased if the players announced they only did it to avenge the boss slipping on his arse while playing for another team years ago.

I must admit I might have found it funny if you were relegated at one time, after all, we've been through it a number of times and received little sympathy from elsewhere. However, Everton games are among those I look forward to and replacing you lot with those already promoted isn't something anyone from any pl club would be getting excited about. Hopefully tonight or the weekend goes how we want and we can all hopefully enjoy the sight of your neighbours getting destroyed in Paris.

By the Sacred Left Foot of St. Kevin of Sheedy and the 'Golden Vision' that was Alex Young, never would I want Everton to be relegated!

As others have already said, you're too important in helping the rest of the league fend off the Anfield Road Formation Brick Throwers' and Anthem Booers' Society..!

I've got to admit that for a time; after my parents stopped/banned me from going to watch City in the very early 80s when there was "crowd trouble" after a match against Everton (I was about 6 or 7 at the time); I did have a rather unhealthy hatred for Everton which lasted for a couple of decades.

However, older and wiser me now realises that you're team isn't really deserving of my hate. I reserve that for your local neighbours and our local neighbours.

Hope you stay up.
