Explain to him that Liverpool have the best 11 players in the history of the game, all these team of the season posts with 7/8 Liverpool players in them show this, therefore Pep leading city to another title against the greatest 11 ever makes it one of the best underdog stories of all time and shows the genius of Pep. How do Liverpool sit regarding their quotas for homegrown players with Milner, Henderson and Oxlade-Chamberlain all towards the end of playing at the top level?

They have recently been signing overseas players but will face stiff competition to sign home grown players, placing more emphasis on youth development coming through the ranks.

PL and UEFA rules are that in teams squad of 25 players, 8 must be "home grown", "locally trained".
