Leroy Sané

Can't see him coming back, think pep just got fed up with having to tell him where he should be on the pitch, great talent, if I was in charge of Newcastle I would try and get him as a statement signing ,not sure he would go but if i was them I'd certainly give it a go
 
Great memories are best left where they are. He gave us wonderful moments but he didn't want to stay and we were willing to let him go. Now, the biggest club in his home country are also willing to let him go, despite his talent. Talent is not all it takes to become the best.
 
Was average at best when he was here . More poor games then good . Also useless versus a low block , don’t understand why anyone would want him back. Not to mention that’s he’s a massive twat

not a chance we will sign him. He’s been average for Bayern and was often average for us. Good player on his day, but not consistent
 
Foden has replaced Sane in our attack as a full time left winger. Foden is just as fast, is always in the right position.. his pressing is excellent and Foden doesn't lose the ball.

Sane losing the ball made Pep go bald! Go look at the all or nothing and we fight till the end videos and you can hear how pissed off Pep is at Sane because he was losing the ball constantly.

The Brighton away game was a big statement by Pep to Sane.. with the season on the line.. Pep trusted Mahrez ahead of Sane in May 2019.
 
I have to agree with some of the previous comments re Sané - its best to keep the happy memories instead of revisiting.

He was electric on his day, the problem for me was that his day didn't come often enough. I seem to remember him being dropped by Pep on at least 2 occasions, once due to attitude - and the other i think was him coming back for preseason a good bit 'overweight'.

At his age, he shouldn't be in the "potential to be world class" bracket. If he isn't world class already, then imho its passed him by.

If he cant hold his own for Bayern - a move HE forced, then again - that's a worrying sign.

I wish him well and thanks for the memories - but its a no from me. He should look at teams like Villa or Newcastle if he wants back in the prem.

Yeh, mainly poor when he started and only really looked good as a sub, attitude all wrong too. Won't be coming back
 
Wouldn’t go anywhere near him tbh. One great season and one good season but a Mardy fucker with a bad attitude. Big no from me as we have moved on .

I’d put money on Pep never coaching Mbappe ever.

His attitude has been established since his time at Monaco. Pep doesn’t work well with prima donnas.

I doubt Pep will ever get the chance either, but I reckon that'll be more money related, than not being able to handle egos. I mean, look how many of them he had at Barca?
 
Pretty sure the Mbappe bid was before his and Monaco's breakout year, he went to PSG at the same time Bernie came to us.
 
The fact he is "unsettled" just two seasons after moving speaks volumes. When things aren't going his way he looks for the door. Didn't want to put in the work to become a Pep player. I don't think either party would want a return.
 
On the sane stuff, Personally I'd love him back as he was one of the my favourites in the squad when he was here, the way he could change a game in 17/18 was incredible to watch.

Realistically though, it's not going to happen, we aren't going to pay money for him and we for sure wouldn't put him on the wages he's currently on at Bayern, add to the fact he would be coming in as the backup left wing behind Phil and it makes even less sense.

Like I said, I love the guy, but he made his decision when he chose Bayern over us, of course the Injury didn't help, but I truly believe if he had stayed with us, he'd be rated as one of the best in the world right now. Yeah he might not be happy there atm, but he made his choice, his got the massive contract and now he has to just get his head down and get on with imo and show people just how good he is.

Anyone that didn’t buy into his team ethic was binned. Just like Sane and the reason he’d never want Mbappe.

I think it's possible he was always going to be inconsistent. He is a bit like Mario. All the talent in the world but consistently inconsistent.

That said, I'd still have him back :)
