Can’t speak for all city fans but as he’ll be 32 in February, you want to start planning for the future.

I’m a believer of knowing when to let go. I don’t like watching all the great players we have look like a shadow of themselves after reaching a certain age. With some it’s a gradual decline and others a massive decline. If City know how they want to address the wings in the future at this point, I don’t think they’ll be worried about letting Mahrez go especially if he wants parity with Kevin’s wages.
